How to Read Your Results
Response Rate
The percentage of recipients who take action (call, visit website, redeem offer). EDDM postcards average 4.4% per the ANA/DMA Response Rate Report. First campaigns typically see 2–3%, climbing with repetition and design — use your own number if you have one.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of responders who become paying customers. This varies widely by industry, offer, and follow-up — enter your own conversion rate rather than an assumed industry figure.
Cost Per Acquisition
Your total campaign cost divided by the number of new customers acquired. Compare this to your customer lifetime value. If CPA is lower than LTV, the campaign is profitable.
Return on Investment
(Revenue − Cost) ÷ Cost × 100. An ROI of 200% means you earned $3 for every $1 spent. A well-designed, well-targeted campaign can be very profitable — but results vary, so rely on the numbers you enter above, not a fixed promise.
