Do I need a mailing list?+
No. EDDM delivers to every address in the neighborhoods you select. No list to buy, no names, no addresses to manage. You pick the neighborhoods; USPS handles delivery to every household in them.
What is a carrier route?+
A carrier route is the neighborhood a single USPS letter carrier covers each day, typically 300–600 addresses. Our route selector shows the exact address count for each neighborhood and lets you filter by household income and density.
How do I pick the right neighborhoods?+
Use our interactive route selector. Search by ZIP, see every neighborhood on a map, and filter by income and density. Each one shows its address count so you know your print quantity before you order. Our team can recommend the strongest neighborhoods for your business, free.
What's the minimum order?+
EDDM has a 200-piece minimum per mailing — that's a USPS rule, not just ours. Most neighborhoods cover 300–600 addresses, well over that, so it rarely comes up. If a neighborhood you want runs smaller, just add a second one to reach 200; our route selector shows the exact count and makes combining neighborhoods easy. Mailing every address in a neighborhood is what keeps postage low at $0.26/pc.
What file format do you need?+
PDF, 300 DPI, CMYK. We accept Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop files too. Not sure it's print-ready? Upload it and we review before charging anything.
What is PS Form 3587 and do I have to deal with it?+
It's the USPS bundling and acceptance form required for EDDM. Choose We Mail It and we handle it completely; it's included. Choose Just Print and you submit it yourself at the Post Office.
How long from order to mailbox?+
Print turnaround is 5 business days from your approved file. Once we drop your bundled cards, USPS delivers within 3–5 business days. Plan for 8–10 business days from approval to mailboxes.
What if something is wrong with my order?+
The L&B Promise: if we make a printing error, we reprint at no charge. In practice our free design review catches issues before press. Call us at 908.232.7770 if you ever have a concern.
